seriously, these eyes kill me.
if i haven't written it on the blog before, i will now.
my brown eye story
-by amy masuzumi
i'm a teenager. i hate brown eyes. i have a lot of friends with brown eyes but i love my bluey-greeny-rusty eyes!! in my opinion brown eyes pale in comparison to my uniqueness (wow! that sounds bad, but true).
i decide, i will never marry a boy with brown eyes because i don't want my babies to have boring brown eyes.
in my late teens. i meet a boy named todd. he's almost perfect in every way for me, except he has brown eyes. and i tell him that that is one fault, i might be willing to overlook.
my early twenties and i have a brand spanking new baby. and she has beautiful blue eyes for the first 9 months of her life. ahh... beautiful blue eyes turned to gorgeous hazel by age 3. todd's eyes don't have to win in our genetic mix up of children. there is hope to escape brown eyed babies (because even in my early twenties, i'm still not a huge fan of the brown eyes. they are growing on me, and i love todd's, but still...)
mid twenties brings baby #2. and he doesn't humour me for more than a day. those eyes are huge and they are brown. and they melt.my.heart.
i love brown eyed babies!!
because seriously, who could look at those and not love them.
not even my heartless teenage self could deny the beauty!! (at least i hope i wasn't that heartless as a teenager...)
